This SilencerCo Piston is designed for reliably running a suppressor on your pistol. Without a piston and Nielsen device on your setup, the added weight of the suppressor can prevent the barrel from unlocking and fully cycling. With a piston and Nielson device attached it increases pressure allowing the barrel to unlock and reliably cycle the action. This SilencerCo Suppressor Piston is interchangeable with 9mm and .45 caliber SilencerCo suppressors and is threaded .578x28.
